Depends: If chronic, then maybe not. Generally caused either by infection or some other reason for inflammation/congestion closing off the eustachian tube that drains the middle ear. Notice you use afrin (oxymetazoline); daily afrin (oxymetazoline) use (for more than 4 days or so) could exacerbate the problem. If you have chronic congestion and fullness in the ears, recommend seeing a rhinitis specialist.
