Prolactinoma: It is possible to suppress the growth of prolactin secreting pituitary adenoma with cabergoline. Some patients do not require surgical removal of the tumor for as long as there is no size progression in serial mri. Reduction in size and adequate hormone response would favor conservative therapy only. Check with your endocrinologist and neurosurgery in this aspect of your care.
