Your doctor can help: The first thing to do is to let your doctor(who did the swab) know about your pain. The pain on urination may be from infection in the urine passage. This requires a visit with a doctor for checking your urine for infection and consider Antibiotic therapy for you. Until you can see your doctor drink extra fluids(water or any liquid of your choice(skim milk or Juice). Tylenol (acetaminophen) can help relieve pain
