If a person was drinking alcohol say beer every day after a days work.If alcohol was causing liver damage the GGT would be elevated right?And if GGT was normal on lab work while drinking alcohol every day that would mean alcohol is not doing damage?
So if a person did have ongoing cirrhosis of the liver and was still drinking alcohol every day the GGt on bloodwork would be elevated right?
