Unlikely, but see Dr: Unlikely. It usually takes considerable blunt chest trauma to tear the aorta: Such as in an automobile crash with sudden deceleration. The consequences are life threatening requiring immediate attention. It's possible that you injured your chest wall resulting in some intermittent derangement that's causing your pain. For peace of mind see your physician for an exam.
