A member asked:

My daughter is 15 years old.she is 152cm tall.she started her periods in november.i am 149cm and my husband is 165 cm tall .will my daughter grow tall?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Limited growth: After menstruation, girls can hope for 2-6 cm more growth over the following 1-2 years, when height growth stops. Most height is achieved prior to starting menses. "Tall" is relative and is generally determined by genetics and general health measures. She is already taller than her mother but will be shorter than her father.
