Get checked out: People misusing their voices are abusing their vocal cord leading at times to vocal cord nodule. The cough and sore throat are unusual however. There is no home remedy other than stopping abusing your vocal cord and that may mean no more singing until you can evaluated by a vocal cord specialist whom you should see anyway.

Vocal chord strain: Vocal chord strain requires rest soothing beverages antiinflammatories and proper warmup and vocal exercises. It's basically like a sports injury. Singers are not immune to allergies and post nasal drip, viral pharyngitis or strep throat and if over exerted may be more likely to have a sore throat. If dysphagia or odynophagia present see md.
