Get checked out: People misusing their voices are abusing their vocal cord leading at times to vocal cord nodule. The cough and sore throat are unusual however. There is no home remedy other than stopping abusing your vocal cord and that may mean no more singing until you can evaluated by a vocal cord specialist whom you should see anyway.
