Several days: Azithromycin is very long acting. For this particular antibiotic, the drug is concentrated in tissues and "half life" (which usually means blood levels) isn't helpful. Tissue levels high enough to fight infection last for 7-10 days after a single dose, and smaller amounts might last 2-3 weeks or even longer.
