Azithromycin: has a very long "half life" thus it will gradually decrease to half in 68 hours then half of that in another 68 hours. WHY are you asking?? You have not had enough to treat your sinus condition BUT you can start a new antibiotic NOW without waiting for the Azithromycin to "leave completely"! Hope this helps! Dr Z
