Stronger Rx: I'm really sorry you haven't been effectively treated. Antibiotics should never be used alone for acne and I trust you've also been using benzoyl peroxide or retinoic acid. Acne self-cures as you get older but there's no telling when. I was able to stop treating mine at age 50. Chances are that you would benefit from isotretinoin. Be brave, ignore the "scare" stuff, and stay the course.
