I have been having stabbing, burning, tight pains around shoulder blade area. what could this possibly be.

Need more informatio: Tall thin men with stabbing pain makes me worry about spontaneous pneumothorax. Older men and women i worry about the aorta. In the elderly if the pain is burning then it could be shingles. In a young women it could be muscle spasms after hard exercise. If it is really bothersome you'll need to see a doctor. Hope it helps.
