Hi sir,gd mrng i pulled my trapizius during shoulder workout 1 month nd 1 week before still i m feeling some tightness in uper back when i rotate neck,nd also i feel a burning type sensation and small pullness in upper back nd neck area,i go to orthopadic

No: wait until ur pain goes away completely small muscle spasms may last longer. do walking exercises and resume ur wt lifting later.

I think: you may have also injured your neck and a pinched nerve (C6-7) in the neck vertebrae will cause referred pain of a "burning" (neuropathic) quality. Mention this to your Orthopedic consultant!! Hope this helps! Dr Z

Trapezius spasm: VSanders, mild pain and superficial tears of the delicate muscle group called rotator cuff (supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor), is very easily done in a gym /weigh lifting scenario.
