A member asked:

Recovering from anemia after miscarriage. i have been getting painful headaches everyday in the back of my head and neck. is this normal? how long?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Headaches are not normal. The cause is not easy to determine without additional history and physical examination. These may be due to tension and one way of getting around tension is by exercise. You may wish to start exercising, first thing in the morning. Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
