What tests must a pathologist do when a patient died from sepsis, does the autopsy include checking blood, checking tissue, what occurs ? thank u :)

See below: A postmortem examination includes visual inspection of all the organs, including cut surfaces of the organs. Microscopic examination of selected tissues is also done. The source of sepsis can generally be determined. You and your doctor may wish to consult the pathologist if you need additional information or explanation.
