Agree with others: The XR is designed to work as a unit, and cutting it will dramatically change the pharmacodynamics, so it will act as an immediate release item. This creates a risk of flooding with a large amount of medicine released instantaneously, which could result in severe adverse effects, especially drowsiness, dizziness, and imbalance. Not safe at all. Discuss with your doctor.
