Yr Counts a bit high: Both your WBC and Platelet count are above the niormal range. This could be nothing more than an infection. But your doctor is being cautious not to miss an early cancer affecting your blood. You will have your blood counts repeat checked once or twice in the next couple of months to see if they settle back to normal or increase(in this case you will need further testing to rule out CML).
