After surgery: What you are describing can be a normal finding after surgery. Usually there is some brusing, and minor bleeding at the site of surgery. This can take a few weeks to several months to resolved on it's own. Signs you should look out for after surgery are fevers, chills, night sweats, new pain, redness around your incision or pus from your wound. Make sure to stay in close contact with your surgeon.
