A member asked:

Can being in perimenopause cause one to feel hot a lot? not hot flashes, just feeling warmer than usual a lot of the time, especially at night.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: See your doctor. Blood tests can be performed to diagnose menopause. A history and physical exam may point to other areas of concern. Check FSH, LH and Estradiol for menopause, TSH and Free T4 for Thyroid problems. CBC to rule out infection.
