Most commonly: a white spot on the tonsil is just a patch of mucous from a previous tonsil infection or in some cases the beginning of a new infection...with no symptoms forget about it and it is certainly NOTHING TO BE FRIGHTENED ABOUT! It is NOT CANCER! Hope this helps! Dr Z
