Try more water first: it is common to have darker urine in the am than in other times of the day bc the urine concentrates over night. however, consider more water -- very dark yellow suggests you are not giving your body enough hydration. if more water doesn't help, worth getting urine tested as well, rule out any other urine abnormalities.

Not unusual: The color of the urine (unless you have blood ) usually does not mean much. If you take a multivitamins , the riboflavin often impacts a yellow color. If you are not on a multivitamin yet seeing dark yellow urine all day long, inadequate water intake would be the likely cause assuming that you have no urinary symptoms.
