A member asked:

At what age are eyes fully developed? my 6 year old could not see some faint stars that i was able to see, and i'm slightly near sighted.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

By 5-6 at the latest: Newborns are nearsighted with a quoted vision of 20/400 and a gradual progression to vision of around 20/40 by 4 and 20/20 by 5-6. I would have the kid formally examined by an eye doc to see if his vision is at a point where glasses are needed.
