Picture=1000 words: W/o a seasoned doctor taking a look or picture of the lesion, it is hard to say what it could be. A lot depends on answers to questions he/she may pose: do you have a new or old mattress? Do u use any chemical / cosmetics? Any medical problems that run in ur family? Any other signs/symptoms (weight loss, etc.)? It could be benign (insect bite, petechiae) or it could be a sign of something ominous.
