A member asked:

I have red spots that turn into bruises, for example, i had one on my arm that is small but the ones on my legs are more prominent. is there any cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Suspicious but can't: Bleeding into skin can produce bruises. It can be due to one of two causes. In older folks( tell your age...it is important to relay this info) the skin becomes more fragile and blood vessels are then poorl;y supported agains friction, so they can break and ooze blood under the skin. Seconly any platelet (It is a type of blood cell )abnormality can increase the risk of bruising. Aspirin can do it
