A member asked:

Are there lymph noids on the front bottom of neck injured my neck is it possible that i have a swollen muscle there or could it be a cancerous lymph?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, yes, and rarely: There are certainly lymph nodes in the anterior, inferior neck. If you injured your neck, you could certainly have swollen muscle tissue or general swelling. Lymph nodes swell due to inflammation, infection, or cancer. If the nodes are tender they are most likely inflamed not cancerous . See your doctor for a persistent swollen node. Good luck.
