Ortho surgeon just keeps giving me pills. can not move shoulder. pain is 7/10 all the time. mri and ultrasound all normal. really need some answers?

Sounds like: a frozen shoulder. Your orthopedic surgeon should be able to tell you the most likely diagnosis based on exam and tests. If it is a frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) injecting the shoulder joint with steroids and saline (20-40 cc volume) followed by physical therapy can help with mobility and pain.

Fell on my hands more than a year ago.Had x-ray &MRI.MRI:Mild increased T2 signal intensity of the median nerve which can be seen with CTS.Ortho.wants me to take EMG. I can't take EMG due to health condition.Can I have an ultrasound to rule out CTS?
