A member asked:

If i spot on implanon, do i have a higher chance of getting pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No you do not: Implanon remains quite effective (96 to 98%) despite occasional vaginal spotting or a change in your menstrual bleeding. It clearly reduces your risks of pregnancy very significantly but unfortunately does not eliminate it. If you are very concerned and need to be reassured, you may want to check your blood betaHCG pregnancy test periodically.
