Patching : Patching the better visioned eye does improve visual acuity in children particularly when they are 9 yo or less in age. Even to some degree patching up to 17 yo can help, but less effective. I didn't get your age, but if you are an adult, the benefits of patching will not likely have a positive impact. You should see an Eye MD if you are concerned about your vision. All you may need is glasses.
