A member asked:

I just took 30mg of amytriptaline and i have food poisoning so i took 2mg zofran (ondansetron) and saw there was a major integration and now i'm scared. is it ok?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not a problem: This interaction is that the zofran (ondansetron) could increase the serotonin effects of the Amitriptyline resulting in serotonin syndrome. This will not happen if you only took one dose of the zofran (ondansetron) and your dose of Amitriptyline is only 30 mg. Do not worry but do not take more zofran (ondansetron) while on the Amitriptyline.
