Nonspecific: Your symptoms are nonspecific, but a headache that is severe and persisting for 2 days is concerning and I recommend that you be examined in the hospital emergency room where proper testing is readily available. It may turn out to be a viral syndrome that is self limiting, but it's wise to check it out.
