Pharmacist is right: To be extra cautious, you can still not be allergic to penicillin, or even ceclor, as with some people drug allergies wane with time, even if it was a true allergic reaction, but most of the time it is just a rash, ceclor is known for it, or viral rash. At any rate, kindly ask your prescriber for an alternative, if none, and it is an absolute necessity, see an allergist for evaluation, good luck
