Quetiapine: This common medication for anxiety, depression and sleep is very safe for all three. It is very sedating and many people can only tolerate taking it at bedtime.

Quetiapine Fumarate: Official fda indications for use of Quetiapine Fumarate include short term treatment of schizophrenia as well as both bipolar depression & mania. Quetiapine xr has an approved indication as an adjunct treatment for major depression. It is used off label for insomnia, ptsd, adhd, aggression/ agitation, dementia, anxiety & mood disorders.
