Panic attacks: Can be very unpleasant but are very treatable. They are a combination of body chemistry and mental attitude. Please see your doc to make sure hormonal things such as thyroid and insulin levels are ok and then a mental health professional. He/she can teach you strategies to cope we'll and help them resolve.
