Stress test: A stress test will yield evidence of physiologic ischaemia, this can be present without obstructive coronary disease though coronary obstruction is by far the commonest cause; coronary artery disease is frequently present with a "normal" stress test; so beware diagnostic prognostication. An ECG can mimic an acute MI but be due to many other causes.
