Liver Function Tests: are the most commonly performed. The most common basis of abnormal LFTs in the US is the low-fat, Hi-Carb diet. Because we are water based beings, the liver converts ingested carbs (all absorbed as sugars) into triglyceride fats for storage. If liver cannot export fats to peripheral fat tissues fast enough, steatosis (fatty liver) results. Study: https://goo.gl/H7mItd. Solution? Go LCHF foods.
