A member asked:

I had 3 ekgs run today, all said abnormal, one said *** acute mi ***. i was sent home. i am having chest pain and scared. why would they ignore this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ECG: You should ask the Dr.who saw you. There are ECG patterns like early repolarization which the computer can interpret as acute mi, which are just variants of normal. This may be the case. There is no way we can know why someone else made a specific decision.
