Swimming and yeast: Hello Karla, swimming can cause or worsen a yeast infection. A wet environment promotes the growth of yeasts and so if you do not remove wet swimming clothes promptly or don't dry yourself off then you can worsen a yeast infection. So dry off thoroughly and you should be okay.
