Must see a doctor...: Aleve (naproxen) is not typically used for burning in the urethra. Burning is a concerning symptom because it could indicate a UTI or an STD, assuming you've had no recent trauma or catheterization. Either source would require a consult with a physician to initiate treatment. If you're unable to get in to see a provider right away you can use phenazopyridine (Azo) to relieve the burning.
