Hang in there: Blood is often concerning for a bacterial infection, but since you are getting better, more likely a mild one or a viral infection that is resolving on it's own. Stay hydrated. If you develop a fever, vomiting, moderate or worse pain, or increasing blood in you stool, see a physician. If still having any blood after another week, see a physician. Any recurrence in the future, see an MD.
