For simple UTI,drink cranberry juice twice a day,they do have cranberry tablets..............one tab. 3X day Drink ample amount of fluids. A shot of ?????: Swelling and itching confined to labia sounds more like a yeast problem or some local contact. It is very unlikely that it is allergy to Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) [SMZ/TMP]. Cranberry juice or pills will not hurt but will not help, either.
