A member asked:

I have high copper and liver enzymes. i'm on the pill, and have hashimoto's disease. what could cause my copper levels and liver enzymes to be high?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ceruloplasmin: The oral contraceptive pill itself raises serum ceruloplasmin and thus copper. In the 1970's we used to be able to tell blood from women on "the pill" because of the copper-blue tinge to the pasma. Your liver enzymes -- i can't address it.
