A member asked:

I went to a concert a couple of days ago and my ear feels sensitive when i drink soda etc. or chew food. will it get better with time?.

Nonspecific: This symptom is nonspecific and could indicate mild infection/inflammation in the external ear canal or ear drum. An inflamed throat can also cause referred pain in the ear. It's unlikely that loud noise at the concert caused this. If symptoms persist or worsen your physician or otolaryngologist can evaluate, advise and treat you.
