Your Tongue: The tongue is a highly sensitive part of the oral cavity that unfortunately or fortunately lets you know when there is something different in the mouth. Movement of your tongue against your teeth, especially if along the side of your tongue can be quite uncomfortable. There are some OTC rinses and/or meds that can be used to help numb the area.
