I am taking cipro (ciprofloxacin) for a bacteria called ecoli. i have been on this cipro (ciprofloxacin) for 3 or 4 days.i am hydrated and eating normally. can i drink alcochol?

OK in moderation: Probably you have a urinary tract infeciton, right? Heavy alcohol use can interfere with the immune system and increase the risk of complications from infections. However, alcohol in moderation doesn't interfere with treating UTI or other infections due to E. coli or other bacteria, and doesn't interact with ciprofloxacin. Just don't overdo it.
