Yes: since you are getting the infection back to back,get a culture done to find out what bug you have and the antibiotic it is sensitive to and also take precautions to prevent UTI such as drinking enough water,emptying your bladder often and wearing relaxed clothing,cotton underwear and pants

7-10 days: I suggest taking medication for a minimum of 7-10 days. If not certain, call your physician. Do not stop until your physician tells you otherwise.
