IUD insertion: I don't know what you have been reading but it is NOT a painful procedure. Has there ever been a time when a woman had some pain during insertion of an IUD? Undoubtedly yes! But people cross the street and get run over by cars. That hasn't prevented you from doing so. You just look carefully and cross with care. Life has risks. It also has benefits. Weigh the risks and benefits and choose for you.
