At my eye exam this week the doctor said my eye muscles were not working together and i need a prism. i don't see double. what's going on?

Why get the exam: Did you get the exam because you had episodes of double vision or did the "not working together" was something only discovered on examination. You do not need prisms if the eyes never see double. Prisms only help to reduce doubling and can frequently eliminate it.
