Lab results: As a general rule, its best to discuss your lab results with your doctor. When you have access to your own results, the temptation to peek is really too much to bear. However, it's best to discuss it with the doctor that requested it. It is a good opportunity for patient and doctor to communicate. That being said, it is a random measure of protein in the urine.
