While extremely common, belching or burping, reflects usually 2 things, one is mechanical and has to do with thorough chewing, proper size of the bite, frequent sips of water during meals and the other is related to content as different types of foods and drinks may be more irritating for the stomach ( high fiber food or carbonated drinks for example). If overweight, losing weight will help.
