It varies for each: person. We don't know why HPV becomes active in certain people and not in others, but there is no way to predict whether your body will clear it or not. A very important thing to remember is that as long as you have HPV, you can still transmit it, even if you don't have visible warts. That's why doctors recommend condom use and the HPV vaccine for sexually active men and women.

Persist: Cheer up buddy. Stop worrying about what you can't change. Every guy has a few strains of HPV and the ones that give you and/or her cancer usually aren't the ones that cause warts. Be tough, take the pain of having them off, use barrier protection, and be god we can help.
