Probably harmless: The laws against cannabis were written with an eye to politics rather than demonstrated health dangers, and unlike the other illegal drugs, efforts to show major harm from the stuff have met with very limited success. I'd urge you to follow up your surgery with serious physical fitness activities and keeping your head clear so as to enjoy your new physique and health focus. Best wishes.

Harmful? Yes, It Is.: Any type of smoking compromises the healing process following surgery. I require all of my patients to stop smoking for the two weeks leading up to surgery. But above all, you should stop smoking (everything!) for your general health!
